PAKISTAN – As Not Seen on TV!


Astola: Pakistan's largest offshore island


The island is approximately 6.7 km in length with a maximum width of 2.3 km. Its highest point is 246 feet above sea level.



Astola is Pakistan's largest offshore island and the only significant offshore island in the northern Arabian Sea.



Astola Island is located near Pasni in the Gwadar District of Balochistan



Astola Island is also known as Jezira Haft Talar or 'Island of the Seven Hills'.


The island is at about three hours boat ride from Pasni Harbour.



Astola Island is a RAMSAR Wetland Site.
